His name is of Spanish origin, it is derived from the latin word "rogatus" (request). Smith was received as a gift from TheFlyingTypO, his original ancestors are Esrare and Scapolite.

Rogelio hates to admit it, but sometimes he just can't see very well, especially in the dark. Because of this, he likes to take the little lamp hung on his tail and hang it in front of him. This way, the small, flickering light can illuminate the faces of the other dergs he is talking to, as well as ensure that he can see the ground in front of him when it gets too dark outside. One gift he will be excited to get is a new lamp, seeing as the one he has is broken in some places.

Sometimes his friends call him Roger instead of Rogelio, and though he gets annoyed, the nickname has since grown on him.
