When she was young, she often infuriated her birthclan with her endless stream of questions. When being taught how to fly, she would only irritate her teacher with Why is the sky blue? When being taught how to swim, she would pester the others Why is water wet? Eventually, irritated with her, the clan made it clear that she was no longer welcome to stay as soon as she became a fledgeling. Never having been close to anyone in her clan, she soon set off on her search for a clan that knew at least a few of the answers that she was seeking. Shortly afterwards, she encountered Aidan and Blaise while they were selling some of their work. Intrigued by the intricacy of their products, she so was delighted when they offered to let her see their forge that she could even forgive the vagueness of their answers to Why is fire hot? - To make the metal sing. Amused at her innocent wonder, the metalsmiths soon introduced her to the rest of the clan, and she was amazed to finally have some answers wrung out of the other dragons, many of them only too willing to oblige. Soon enough, she became a familiar face within the clan, and it was only a matter of a few days before Hasamelis invited her to join the clan. Nowadays, her questions have shifted from why to how, and more often than not, she can be found tinkering with several things, surrounded by a variety of weird and wonderful contraptions- some that can light up her den when a switch is pressed, or a little box that can haltingly tinker out a little ditty when opened. Always bouncing around over a new idea or snippet of information, she doesn't have the time to mope when something doesn't go her way- why should she care if a box doesn't go boom as it should if she's got a new project to work on? Although it's common to not encounter her for a few days while she's at work on some new invention, she is very well-liked within the clan with her bubbly cheerfulness, and many of her strange creations have been proved useful within the lair- even if she still bears scars from her earlier prototypes. |
