ASP
clan gardener/gatherer |
When he was barely an adult, Asp decided to move from his homeland, the Viridian Labyrinth, to the Windswept Plateau. Many of his family members and ex-clanmates looked down on him for this, xenophobic as they were, and even less likely to travel across Sornieth purely on a whim. But that was alright with Asp; he’d always felt different than them, both about their policies on outsiders and with pretty much everything else, too. So he made the journey, and spent a few months sightseeing, eventually making a trip into the Twisting Crescendo. He came out slightly battered, but overall okay, and a couple of wind dragons were so impressed with him that they took him to their clan, and that’s where he stayed and became a gardener. He’s content with himself now. Sure, he’s fulfilling a role that pretty much every other member of his family did, but he was still different. And he had achieved his lifelong dream, and he found a family much more accepting of both him and...everyone else, pretty much. Besides, without him, the plant-eaters of the clan wouldn’t be able to survive; after all, these wind dragons wouldn’t be able to tell an Aconitum napellus from a Lavandula angustifolia. |
