Evlyn-Lone Hunter

Unlike most of her Mirror clan mates she is much more like her breed's stereotype, being a fierce, non-nonsense predator who hates having others look after her. She is much more like her mother, who briefly resided in the clan. This dragoness is highly independent, disappearing for days on lone hunting trips and then returning tired and hurt, but with a plentiful supply of food. Because of her independent nature and habit of going off on her own she has learnt both basic healing magic and physical ways to heal injuries, and is able to heal both herself and others effectively. She is the most restless of the clan's Mirrors, as while the others will return to the main lair to spend days with their non-travelling clan mates, she only returns home for few days a month and rarely stays more than one day. However, as aggressive and independent as she is she is as equally fiercely devoted to those she has become attached too, willing to defend those individuals with her life. Luckily for the clan this devotion spreads to all it's members, and she is particularly loyal to Brek, preventing her for challenging her clan mate for leadership. Her emotions are felt in the extreme, and she lacks any desire to dampen them. It is her view that emotions make her stronger, though she won't impose this view on others.
Born into the clan from a recently arrived Mirror and an established Coatl, her parent's relationship was one of scandal. Her father, Fidi, had arrived at the clan as a very young dragon and eventually mated with a young Tundra, producing a clutch. Long after the clutch had left the clan and the two of them had drifted apart the Tundra mated with a newly arrived Mirror, apparently leaving Fidi confused though the pair had broken up. Most of the clan suggest that the Tundra simply had forgotten she had mated with him, and so moved on. Those clan members however also claim that Evlyn's parents only got together in an attempt to pay the Tundra back for hurting Fidi. However there is no real evidence of this, and soon after she hatched her parents and the Tundra and her Mirror mate left the clan. But before they left they called her Evlyn, for no other reason other than liking the name. This is unusual as most dragons born into the clan were named by Kaimana, due to her ability to see a dragon's true form. While she was born Poison/Current/Underbelly, as a chick Kaimana allowed her to change her primary gene to Clown. As she grew up around her Mirror and non-Mirror clan mates she found herself something of an oddity, being much more aggressive and adventurous than those around her. At one point she decided that she would become a territory guard, but after her first hunt with the mirror pack she realised she loved to hunt, to find prey and bring back food for her clan. She also realised she didn't play well with others, even while hunting, so trying to defend the territory in a group of guards was a no go. After consulting Cienna, the dragon who organised the hunts, she became a hunter for the clan, though she hunted alone more than with the rest of the pack. It was during one of these hunts she found a Umbra Wolf pup, and because some of her other clan mates were close by she brought it back to the clan with her. The pup bonded closely to her, and eventually became her familiar. He also became her hunting partner, helping to chase down and herd prey into traps. She became friends with Nertmyry, a fisher in the clan, because the Tundra had the hunting spirit of a Mirror and a similar childhood, though at least for the younger dragoness her parents truly did care for her and each other. She also became close to a Wildclaw called Seph, a territory guard a few years younger than her. They got along well when she was in the lair, and she enjoyed hunting with him. Eventually he proposed that they become mates, but she deferred initially. She didn't like the idea of hatchlings, or having him constantly trying to protect her. However when Seph underwent his transformation into a Wildclaw their celebrations ended up with them accidently becoming parents to a clutch of four eggs. While incubating them with Seph she realised that being mates with him wouldn't be so bad, and so proposed the idea to him, with the condition that he will do most of the raising of their chicks because she knew she would be too restless to do so. He agreed and they officially announced that they were mates. Now she still spends most of her time hunting with Dusk Shadow, her familiar who thinks of himself as he shadow at dusk that is inescapable, but she does spend more time at the main lair to be with her friends and mate.
She is the daughter of Mania and Fidi, though she isn't close to her parents, and the mate of Seph. With most of her clan mates she is distant, particularly the chicks, though she does care about them. She has great respect for Brek, and sees a kindred spirit in Concord Dawn, though she doesn't hang around the clan long enough to form strong bonds with many of her clan mates. The familiar, an Umbra Wolf, is called Dusk Shadow but she mostly calls him Dusker.
