Thesprotis was founded by Pandra from when she was a child. The young, abandoned ridgeback was alone and scared in the night, wandering for what seemed like an eternity before finding a dayglo thresh within the middle of an ancient human oil lamp. The thresh's delicate light grew stronger as the dragonling approached. It lit up the night and it's warmth surrounded the youth. But it wasn’t the flower giving off warmth, the glass of the oil lamp still cold. It was the place. The place gave off a silent comfort that lit the thresh and hummed with Pandra's magic, urging the child to stay. And so she did, just building a small hut to sleep in and a nearby creek to eat from. When she reached adulthood more dragons were attracted to the place and she gave them permission to build. Right away, they assumed her as the natural leader to the grounds of where they lived. More dragons settled and they made a small community. Pandra gently guided the community through trouble in the area and, after a year the citizens came together and made it so their small community would be a clan and that Pandra would be the leader. She took up the title and steered the clan to become prosperous. Years went on and Pandra grew old and decided to have a new leader to mentor before letting them take over. She set out a challenge to test young dragons aspiring for power. The challenge was; they must keep two dayglo thresh's glowing inside an old oil lamp, and the means were left up to them. After a month they would give the oil lamp’s back to Pandra. For a week she would inspect them, those that’s glow faded were immediately crossed out. One of the candidates -Pandra's adopted son - managed to get all of his flowers glowing all the time, and he would have been the new matriarch, but denied himself the position and let the next candidate have the job. He instead kept to himself. Autumn was pronounced the new Clan Leader, and she loved the community and tried her best. The would be Leader, a skydancer by the name of Sionyn started his own little bookshop. Soon, a young priest, raised at the radiant eye moved down to their community. He went by the name of Soleil. He befriended the community and urge Autumn to help him build a temple for the Lightweaver. She complied and along the way they became friends.  ~  ~
