N O T E S *reclusive and distrustful *prefers to be left alone *secret romantic Old Bio to be rewritten; Born into the cult of the Hanijan, Shaman realized quickly, that the life he was leading was far from normal. He felt no connection to the so called deity his parents worshipped and everything in him was balking against the sacrifice and blind madness his parents were willingly submitting themselves to. While treasuring what Occult knowledge he could learn from Onijan and Elhajan, especially regarding necromancy, Shaman treasured little else his parents tried to instill in the skydancer. Shaman feared he would have stay in the cult forever, caught in his parents madness, when all he wanted to do was run away as far as possible. His ticket out came in the form of Quetzalcoatl. The Coatl requested that Shaman may accompany him back to his own Clan on the Starfall Isles, to serve as a preacher for the cult of Hanijan. Seeing as their son could spread their influence, Shaman's parents agreed. As soon as they were out of his parents earshot and eyesight, Quetzalcoatl confessed that his clan would not reside on the Starfall Isles much longer and was moving back to a hidden piece of land in the Windswept Plateau. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes when speaking about it, and the coin dropped for Shaman when Quetzalcoatl mentioned 'that nobody would be able to track it if a dragon suddenly vanished on the way there' and that 'It will be a shame that some of our old allies won't be able to find the clan after we have moved'. When the day of the big migration came, Shaman was still with the group, but once they arrived weeks later at their destination, he had long vanished. The skydancer has since established his own style of life: He is a nomad who greatly prefers to avoid any and all forms of civilisation. He never really expected for other dragons to join him, since he was fairly happy alone, but at some point in time, Oracle simply appeared at his side one morning, bringing Talisman and Voudou with her. The wise Seer told him that she had long foreseen his path and knew she was meant to walk it by his side, as was the destiny for two other skydancers she had brought along with her. While reluctant, Shaman agreed to keep them with him for a trial period, to see if it would work out. He has long since abandoned any thought of asking them to leave. From then on, Shaman occasionally let Oracle steer his path. She led him into the path of Seer, recruited Karma and also at a later opportunity vanished to return with Chaos at her side. After Karma was recruited, the chattering merchant would occasionally return from the cities with dragons by his side that wished to join their little nomadic group as well. Seeing as their family had grown so much, Shaman caved and finally named his group of skydancers, that had appointed him their leader: The Yubokumin were born. The only non-skydancer that has joined the Yubokumin so far is Shaman's own mate Lich, who found the skydancers clan because he was her charge. She died of illness soon after she had reached the group, but with her consent before her death, Shaman used the power of necromancy he had long since mastered, to bring her back as a consruct of vines and bones. While she is certainly a scary thing to look at, Shaman could not love her more and she has been a supporting presence at his side. | _________ |
