Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this poison boy wandered a little too far from his lair (232448) and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Though it may not have been Siani's wish to venture into the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the oracles of Clan Sigma say it was fate. He arrived at an opportune time, shortly after a new hatchling went missing. In the panic that ensued, the generator that supplied electricity to the undersea realm went unattended, and after a day and a night of this, lost power entirely.
Though he was less than comfortable in such a big clan, being in the dark amongst frightened dragons was much worse. Working under the clan's chief engineer, Siani was able to not only assist in the repair of the generator, but to provide backup electricity that enabled the search for the missing hatchling to continue. And though the hatchling was not found, having already passed the borders of Clan Sigma, the generator was safely repaired before the situation had a chance to get even worse.
In gratitude for his work, Siani was given a lavish feast by a clan who desperately needed something to celebrate. All of the attention was hard for him to deal with, and a few clan members made comments about their guest's reticence, but they were too thankful for his help to take offense. Before he could leave the clan's territory, he was taken aside by the chief engineer, who gifted him with a pair of goggles, that they might lend him a hand with his work, and remind him of the good he had already done.
~*~
After such overbearing attention, coming to the Clan of Wyrms almost felt like a vacation. The intimidating matriarch seemed to bid him little mind, all but ignoring him after granting permission to stay.
He sheltered with the other "living" dragons in the lair, keeping out of the way and generally enjoying himself. Smells of rot and fear dampened his spirits, however, and after awhile he said his goodbyes and set out again.
~*~
Longing for the chill winds and icy shores of his homeland, Siani decided to return to the Southern Icefield. While making his journey south he ran into two wandering wildclaw siblings who offered him a place to stay. That's how he came to the warm lair of the Fishybreath clan, who's hospitality is rivaled by no other.
Accustomed to housing travelers the clan made Siani quite comfortable in his new home, eager to hear about his adventures. During the day he contributed to foraging trips and explored the massive expanse of tundra, while he spent the night deep within the cavern, curled up by the roaring furnace exchanging stories and chatting.
Eventually Siani felt the familiar desire for warmer shores and decided it was time to move on. He's always welcome back in the lair of the Fishybreath however, if he should ever need another friendly place to rest.
~*~
Unfortunately, Siani didn't make it out of the Icefields as he'd planned to do. Along the way, he was distracted by a clan that had a huge library and a great deal of treats to roast beside their fireplace.
Being summer, a bit of the snow had melted in the icefields, and the flora and fauna of the region was out in great numbers, a delightful event that Siana hadn't seen in quite some time.
After staying and chatting with Rooibos, the clan leader, far too long, Siani decided it was finally time to depart.
