“Feel the Fire within your heart. Remember its warmth. Bask in the comfort of it and share it with others.

Maedawa made sure a candle was always lit and burning on her shrine. Weird as it was, she was proud of the fact that she had never allowed it to go out as long as she had been in this den. Whenever winter came, she shared fire from the same candle to other ones, symbolizing the unity of their clan.

Maedawa believes it is her divine destiny to spread the love and warmth of Fire. An easily misunderstood element - often associated with destruction and war - she wishes to make others comfortable. Fire is dangerous, she doesn't deny that, but without its powers the dragons would be little less than lizards with wings. With fire, they have been able to craft ornaments, items, tools and weapons, which in turn have allowed dragons to evolve.
