Biography
KING The Paladin  Clan Role: Fighter/Potter Mate: Lionheart Pronouns: he/him Bio: King is a member of the Holy Order of the Sacred Tablet, a group of dragons chosen by the Lightweaver herself to guard the Light flight's most sacred artifacts, which are all stored in a vault in the Sunbeam Ruins. The lead knight of this order is considered one of the most important dragons in the whole of the realm of Light, and will regularly communicate with their deity. When a member of the order passes on, if their service was great enough, they will get a statue to commemorate them in the Garden of Honor. When a Light dragon is called to join the Order, they will always do so, no matter what their past was, no matter what job they held before that. They now serve a higher calling. They are trained in the art of combat, the rules of the order, and also a bit of healing. Before he was called to join the Order, King was but a simple potter, and was happiest when up to his arms in clay, fur dirty and eyes bright. Actually, he's still happiest when he gets to ply his old craft, despite the fact that he's been a member of the Order for years and he's supposed to have forsaken his old life entirely by now. Troubled by his own apparent lack of fitting in, King confided in his mentor that he had not yet learned the joy in serving the sacred light for its own sake. His mentor counseled him to go on a pilgrimage, and to only come back once he had found himself. So King left, to find what he may in the world. In Clan Mimsy, King found someone who he thought might be a good influence on him: Calloo, the devoted cleric of the Lightweaver, who knows of the Order and sees them as something to be venerated. He has decided to stay a while here to see what he may find out about himself and about the ancient tenants he is charged with upholding and guarding. Though he pledged to help the fighters of the clan...he also couldn't resist secretly setting up a pottery workshop in his chambers. |
