Yokai cannot recall the times he ever felt a surge of happiness, idyllic moments, his memories seem so vacant, distant like a flickering shadow, on the cusp of the very outline of the flaring sun, so fleeting, and skittering passed his tinkering claws. To most, Yokai is nothing more than aloof, molded with an attitude that is more than austere and flinty; his expressions are guarded and withholding, smothered by a harsh exterior that refuses to be penetrated by the likes of any other gaze. How such a wall came to be is his business; never quite telling anyone how each brick was slotted in place, which experience or moment shaped the foundation of his icy stance, but to those Yokai has known a little longer, there are creases of softness persisting, dipping into the edges of his grunts and glinting teeth. By no means, does he mean to be harsh; however, such times have merely shaped the young dragon, honing him into something less desirable, indistinguishable from his younger-self.
