Always an adventurous dragon, Gore wandered into the sister flight of her home land, the Nature Flight. Collecting food, and taking a break, she basked under a lovely tree, resting on some lovely moss spread below the sweeping branches of the great tree. She took a long nap, longer than she meant, she was always good at sleeping. She awoke to see she had something that seemed to be a rash.
She was still a young dragon, and though she had quite the immune system, from being raised in the Plague flight, but she didn't quite have the right anti bodies to combat a unique nature skin disease. Though not harmful, it was something that altered the tender skin of the young dragon. As a result, as she grew, so did the green formations on her scales.
Finally, as an adult, when she stopped growing, the markings finally stopped their swirling and twirling, settling into a lace like pattern.
Though she gained more than she bargained for on that fateful day, during her adventure, it has never diminished her spirit for wandering and discovering new sights.
Eventually she explored her own flight lands. Curiously she had never thought to adventure in her own backyard. As much as she loved venturing to new lands, she enjoyed discovering new nooks and crannies in her home land. She soon made fast friends with a curious Infestation hound, who saw the markings on her skin, and grew bold enough to come and give her a good sniff. He too had green and red, though they came more naturally to him, he felt a connection to her, that never wavered.
Gore wasn't one to make friendships easily. She was a bit distrusting, and nervous around new dragons, or creatures. Eventually though, the hound would find her, no matter where she went. Always waiting, and showing that he was not harmful. Gore grew to slowly trust him, and eventually she sought out his company.
Eventually he followed her all the way home, running beneath her as she flew over the vast broken lands that made up the Plague lands. Never having a pack to run with before, he didn't have much of a wind built up to run, but he pushed himself to exhaustion. Eventually, try though he might to continue, he collapsed in an exhausted heap, near a heat geyser. Seeing the bright red and green blur below her suddenly disappear she swung back, and found him. Distressed she promised to return soon. She sought help from the clan's healer, Saragon .
Seeing the panic in her normally calm and unrevealing eyes, he raced off with her, his sharp eyes finding his patient before she could show him the way. Being an older and larger dragon, he easily reached the hound first, and immediately took him in his arms, returning him to the solitude of the clan's medical cave. Hydrating the hound, and feeding him, with the ever watchful Gore to help him, Saragon soon healed the young hound.
After that day, Gore never let her hound out of her sight.
