Need to make someone talk and don't want things to get messy? Have some very specific information that needs to be coaxed out of an unwilling participant and are having a hard time doing it yourself? If you happen to be the dragon who needs such a thing, no need to worry, just put Misery on the case. She is an expert at all things that you wouldn't want in your body. She has deadly poisons that will kill within seconds as well as truth serums that will make even the strongest of dragons break.

Misery was raised with her sister and two brothers. Her brothers, Slender and Braze each were sent away to serve a different deity. Only her sister Hysteria and her were left and soon their parents came to woefully regret this fact. The truth seemed to be that there was something terribly wrong with the young dragons minds. Neither seemed to feel regret, empathy, or any of the other assorted emotions expected with normal functioning dragons.

Sooner rather than later bad things began to happen. Dragons around the hatchlings began to drop with illness or turned up with rather brutal lacerations across their bodies. Hysteria and Misery, though similar in taste, have different ways about going about the craft. Misery prefers subtly, a word her sister does not seem to be acquainted with. They left home, driven out by the reasonably angered dragons who didn't want to keep falling victim to the sisters torment.

Tough it seems almost unjust the two sisters did eventually find a place to stay. Tesla invited them in, allowing them to form a new guild within the lair. The truth of it came down to the fact that none of the guards were comfortable dispatching people, instead opting for fair on grounded punishment. When this could not be achieved though they would send in Misery and the gang to deal with any and all sorts of sketchy situations.

Misery is a dragon that likes to keep to herself. Though she does not posses a natural hatred towards the world in general, her morbid behavior tends to drive away anyone who might wish to know her. The only friend she keeps outside of her guild is Crytia, who is known to put ethical issues aside in favor of interesting research.

Though she is known to be closed mouth and rather difficult to talk to, Rona has got out of their way to speak privately with Misery, specially on the subject of her sister Hysteria. Misery has given them nothing, remaining silent as a statue whenever attempts are made. Rona finds her presence to be unnerving, but continues to persist, claiming that they sense something else buried within the dragon. It should be noted that though Rea is noted to hate everyone but Lupin, her and Misery will on occasion make friendly conversation. It seems that misery does to an extent enjoy company.
