Tlaloc came from a large family. He never felt at home, and soon left to find his place in the world. Upon arriving at the Clan of the Maiden of Water, he immediately felt a sense of belonging. He was welcomed with open arms, and soon met a beautiful imperial named Luna. He was struck with her beauty, and soon came to love her. He never expected the fiery imperial to return his feelings, as he was timid, while she was confident. He shyly loved her from afar, but eventually could bear it no longer and professed his true feelings. He was surprised when Luna simply replied by drawing him near into a loving embrace, furling her wings around him. She had harbored secret feeling for him as well, attracted to his kind and caring nature. Their pair was the perfect balance: Luna, with the burning fire of adventure and passion; and Tlaloc, the nurturing and kindhearted soul.

Tlaloc's caring nature made him a natural fit for a counselor. While so young, he was wise beyond his years, and was frequented by worried warriors, and most often of all the stressed Matriarch herself, who found it easy to talk to him.
