Biography

♛Bellona♛
Warbringer

“No mercy. No retreat. Survival is key. Cull the weak."

“Do you think you can win against me?” Her voice growled, low and dangerous.

The Dragon before her stared into her cold eyes, his body shivering as her aura surrounded them with a paralyzing chill.

She let out a cackling laugh, her wings extending to shroud the poor Dragon in her dark shadow. “I am the War Goddess! You could NEVER win against me!”

This was what many Dragon’s would hear, right before a War Goddess, also known as Bellona, would wreak havoc and chaos upon the land. This dark Imperial, mysterious and beautiful, lead a powerful band of dark-minded Dragons, each with their own taste for chaos. The thrill of war and the very essence of destruction and control what fueled Bellona. Her mind, strong and wise, was something to fear. It is said that no one knows where she came from--her lineage shrouded in shadows--but speculation and fear have lead every Dragon to believe that Plaguebringer himself dwells in her soul, and the darkness of the Emperor runs in her blood. With every Flight she visits, chaos, dismay, and havoc shortly follow. Bellona, unrelenting in her ways, and unforgiving in others, has chilled the hearts of many a brave Dragon. Warriors that have tried to stop her and her pack of followers, have found themselves faced with a fearsome foe. They say that by one glance of her cold eyes, you are frozen in your steps.

Without knowledge of Bellona’s upbringing, one would assume that she was crafted from the very fumes of the Plaguebringer’s breath. She had appeared to the world with a plan to take it over. She valued and yearned for control, and control was what she would get. Many Flights were left with nothing after she had come through, and word quickly spread of this War Goddess. Flight would alert others that she was in their midsts, or were coming their way. They even had their own phrase to alert passing Dragons; “The war is coming.” For those that didn’t understand--it was usually too late.

Bellona’s past wasn’t always this way though. She was raised by two powerful Plague Flight Dragons, but at the time of her birth, things were hard for Plague Flight. Many Dragon’s were being called to join the Plaguebringer in training for battle, and others, were called to create tools and weaponry. Bellona’s parents were the luckier ones, able to stay in their lands and raise their young. Bellona grew used to the sound of raw metal being forged and the many dangers that resided around the Plague Flight. It wasn’t until a night in the woods that caused it all to change.

Bellona, quicker and craftier than her siblings, wanted to see what war could be like. Her parents had told her that it was dangerous and something young Dragon should never see. She had wanted to see anyway. What she hadn’t realized, was one of her older siblings had followed her. She wasn’t prepared to see the training grounds. A hoard of Beast Clan enemies had flooded their camp, taking out many Plague Dragons. Fear, and anger filled the young Dragon, and she flew to the battle ground. She had to help her kind! As she started her flight, she felt a powerful tail wrap around her torso and pull her to the ground. Fire erupted in the middle of the camp and more Beast Clan warriors joined the fray. She looked behind her to see her older brother. He motioned for her to stay here and to stay silent.

“No! I have to help!” She screamed.
“You can’t! You’re not strong enough, you’ll just get in the way!” He shouted and headed out into the battle.
With panic and fear, she watched as she fire engulfed the camp, including her brother. Her breathing quicked as she could hear the final calls of the Dragons and Beast Clan warriors.

“N-no.” She whispered. Her body grew cold as she watched the flames rise higher. Their camp...the Dragons. All gone. Her body was paralyzed and it took her mother and father, who showed up shortly after to pull her from her state. They had told her to run, and run she did. Past her home, past the borders, and into unknown Flights. She never stopped running, and with every step, anger, agony, and a need for revenge grew in her. Her home was destroyed because the Beast Clans were out of control. No Dragon was able to fully stop the powerful foes in the woods, because no Dragon understood. She was going to make them understand. She was going to make them all listen, and follow.

With these thoughts, and these actions, Bellona grew. She mastered the art of battle, and the art of manipulation. Her heart turned cold, for every Dragon she tried to convince in joining her band would laugh and turn against her. They would never understand just how fragile their home was, unless she showed them. She turned to fear and manipulation, burning and taking their homes. She wanted, NEEDED to show them what it was like to lose their home. But it was to no avail. No one listened to her. Her heart grew weary of trying, and soon, it was cold to the world around it. She didn’t care for others, only herself and her mission to control the Flights and the land. No one else cared, so why should she? This attitude created a new Bellona. She no longer wanted to warn others of the danger, but to be the danger. She wanted to teach them all who they should really fear. Her life, her family; all gone. Because no one would listen.

A War Goddess emerged from her sorrow. The ground shivers when she walks, and the air turns dark. Her mind grew sharp and her enemies grew weak. She is young, but wise beyond her years. She would speak with a growl and her voice of an ancient. In time, her name was forgotten and only her power and mission are known, “No mercy. No retreat. Survival is key. Cull the weak.” She is the Warbringer.
