Warrior & Prince | Protective | Wild | Handsome Many had revered Kinath as one of the most gracious and skilled warriors to ever grace the land. Heir to the throne, master of the sword and the true mark of a mighty prince soon to be king. But even the most mighty icons have the quietest beginnings. Kinath’s parents were two extremely harsh parents training the young hatchling to become nothing short of a cold hearted killer, with a heart as black as his wings. He was only taught that it was either you kill or get killed. Right up to mature adult, he had endured heavy amounts of abuse in every way conceivable. From mental slowly chipping away at him, to roasting his tail with flames for the littlest errors, if the sword was not swung properly or he showed any signs of purity going against the expectations there was a guaranteed punishment to follow. He had been trusted to kill one target and regain the throne for his family after his ancestors were thrown off many many generations prior as a consequence of their horrific tyranny. As long as the heir Kurin, was slain the throne was his and his alone. The dark night had arrived, the moon even fading from view creating a perfect assassination environment. ‘Kinath. This is the moment we have craved and dreamt of for so many generations, the time to avenge your ancestors is now. You will need this.’ He said pulling out his own sword out of his onyx sheath. This sword had been passed down as the family’s prized possession. With one flight the young killer flew through the sky only to be entranced by a rose ruby light. Descending Kinath’s darkness felt washed away when he locked eyes with the beauty resting in front of him. The beauty that was Kurin. How could such a beautiful princess be the descendant of someone who caused so much anguish to his family? He slowly approached the mistress nudging her as she stirred from her sleep startled at the trespasser in front of her. Kinath immediately explained what had happened only to hear an ear piercing roar and his parents leap out. ‘WE KNEW YOU COULD NEVER DO IT. YOU’RE WEAK AND A WASTE OF LIFE. A NEWBORN HATCHLING HAS MORE GUTS THAN YOU!’ Kinath’s father roared as he charged at his son. In one instinct, Kinath took out the sword slashing his father’s neck. Regret and guilt did not swamp him. But freedom and relief did, surprisingly even his mother was relieved at the sight of the blood oozing out of the wound.
