B I O G R A P H Y

Faefall once traversed through lands of Earth, Arcane, and Plague by the name of SparklingWaters before settling in the Anathýmisi Clan, formerly known as Shadow's Cove. When Azureflight, the original progenitor of the clade, went mad from heartbreak and loss, he was nominated as the new leader. After all, despite how tiny he was in comparison to the rest of the dragons, Faefall possessed experience and wisdom from his centuries spent travelling, and boundless magic owing to his fae heritage.

On the day he rose to the position of leadership, he was newly christened as Faefall--a reminder to himself that at any moment, he too might meet a fate like Azureflight, and each moment should never be taken for granted. Not long after he came to power, the Shadow’s Cove clan embarked on a journey from the territory of the Shadowbringer to the seas of the Tidelord. There had been too much loss and sorrow in that tiny partition of the Driftwood Drag, so many lives lost in vain. The Leviathan Trench offered the heartbroken dragons a new home and a new beginning: one where they recognized the ephemerality of life and became a hub to honor those comings and goings. After all, what could bring a dragon so deep below the surface besides destiny?

Over the span of several decades, the clade has carved a massive cave in the cliffside of the trench that is all their own: an expansive collection of tunnels and rooms, walls dappled in mosses and bioluminescent lights, with the grand central room being fully lit by light magic and various baubles. Various reinforcements have been made to ensure that even the largest dragons in the clan can comfortably fly in it, if albeit for only a scant few seconds. Here, Faefall can often be found perched upon a light fixture, looking down contentedly at the antics of his clan members.

B I O G R A P H Y

In the centuries since his christening, Faefall has come into his own. He has mourned the loss of his many scions to pestilence and war, some passing on from the world before they were even given the gift of a name. He has grown away from his days as a frolicking playboy: now a devoted husband to Skysong, dedicated father to his still-living children, and diligent leader to the clade.

He has finally understood the truths of this world. At last, the meaning of memory has become clear to him—it is the fragment of reality that lingers past death, a temporary moment preserved in a dragon's consciousness, an endless ebb and flow stirred by the world he lives in.

All things must come to an end one day. Yet Faefall can't help but try to cling to forever, wreathing himself in ice and snow—desperately hoping to capture his own most precious fleeting moments in their own little slices of eternity for as long as the heavens will allow.
