Likes: Really, really obscure facts. Finding old clans and hearing their history, or finding new clans and hearing how they managed to carve out a foothold there. Or finding relics from long ago. Yeah old stuff makes her happy.
Dislikes: When it rains and she has to stay in one place longer than she'd like. Or when she gets stranded somewhere really awful and ends up bitten by inhospitable insects. Actually she doesn't much like insects. Awful little things.
Interests/Hobbies: Customs and politics, while also part of history, are a field that truly fascinate her in and of themselves. How have laws changed? Are there dances customary to this region? Has language evolved differently? These things are very important.
Fact: She did stay in a lair once, for a long time; many years in fact. And why did she stay? Well she was young and stupid and fell in love. When she was less wise, she entertained notions of meeting her 'soul mate' and living happily ever after with a nice little family. That's gone now. There is only the road and the stories she'll find out there in the world.

Never one to turn down the chance for an adventure, young Aphid had heard the call of the road like most little wind dragons. She'd been equally unable to resist it. She hitched a ride with the next merchant to go through her birth clan and hasn't looked back since. But it wasn't just the finding new places that excited her. Oh no. It was hearing their stories. A place is only as good as the dragons that live in it, she believes, and those dragons are only as wonderful as the lives they've lived, the tales they tell, the things they've seen.

So she collects those stories, treasures them, keeps them close to her heart. At first, she'd written them down, hoping to compile the most amazing compendium of Sorneithian histories that there ever was. This soon proved a futile endeavour. Obviously writing things down requires books - or at least parchment - and ink and quills and blotting sand and these are all things she can't be weighed down by as she soars from place to place. So instead she commits the tales to memory and delights in the notion that when she's gone, the stories will go with her. It's a rather thrilling thought.

A lonely life, sometimes, sure. But the most exciting one she's found yet. And no promise of a permanent mate will ever see her settle down. She doesn't think.
