Watch the shade, the husk of a once proud warrior
He stands in the light of the sun
The precious light bouncing and gleaming over his white scales and his blood red wings
The light turns him into a dark silhouette
Almost as dark as his pitch black heart
Almost as dark as the nightmares that plague him day and night
His screams and cries go unnoticed by the living
Invisible by those who wish not to see
His eyes see everything and nothing at all
His sad eyes see the dying, forgotten by the others
His angry eyes see the wicked and the vile
He sees, he knows, and he keeps the tombstones tidy and straight
He waits for the right moment to act, as silent as the dark being that he truly is
Look at his eyes

The sorrow and the pain and the anger and the burning, scorching hatred?

Graveyard Keeper - Weakened Demonic God
The Reaper is a patient dragon, he is solemn and distant. He only speaks when he absolutely needs to, and even then he is diligent and careful with his choice of words and the tone he speaks in. He is a cautious dragon by nature and by experience, he holds the knowledge that danger lurks in every bend and in every corner.
He warns others, and yet none listen.
Those that do live on, cautioned by his haunted tales and his whispered warnings, go on to live good lives. The Reaper slides back into the shadows, and he knows he is done for the day. He returns to his graveyard, he trims the long grass and shoos away any insects and rodents that had found their way into the well kept cemetery. He straightens the tombstones and polishes the iron fences surrounding his cemetery.
Once again, when the time comes for him to put the balance of the world right again, he steps from the shadow and sweeps away the the cobwebs on his powers. He whispers to the people, whispers warnings and coaxes fear and doubt into their minds, and when he knows that they will continue to live on he slips away into the night.
He is The Reaper, the keeper of the graves, the seer of the dead, he is the mighty king of the undead, the dying, and the long forgotten. He goes by many names, he is known in the heart of even the smallest child, and he is content to wait, to bide his time until his power is complete and he can be free of the shadows forever.
The fallen king looks forward to this, to being more than just the graveyard's caretaker.
He cannot wait to utterly destroy those that had stripped him of his original strength. And oh, how they will fear him again.
