Mildstorm is a very good doctor, he detaches himself from everything but medical knowledge when he is needed and is able to completely ignore anything around him. He's very morbid, and tells patients what's wrong with them straight up, no sugar coating any diagnoses.

He's almost never around his familiar because he spend so much time in the hospital and she isn't allowed in there due to the fact that she's "dripping with disease." Instead she hangs out in the unlived territory owned by the clan, lying around pretending to be a corpse to catch prey (despite Mildstorm telling her he can get her free food so she doesn't have to do that). They aren't very close, they just don't hate each other as much as they hate others.

He's the doctor who worked with Ozie to heal Raal. He monitored her healing and she has regular check ups to make sure she's working right.

He currently has one surviving child, Chia. Chia doesn't know but Mildstorm involved his other children in awful experiments, of which Chia was free from. It was decided to let Mildstorm continue his practice as a doctor because he's the only doctor in the clan, but he is very closely watched by Rosemonde, because he is her charge. Chia is his favorite child but she doesn't trust her dad, which leads to Mildstorm getting her gifts and trying to win her affection.
