Fashion Designer Happy-go-lucky - Gay - Talkative About Asher wasn't content to stay in Clan Colmillo Fuego after his father left to serve the Flamecaller so he moved to the Land of Colored Sand to live with his mother. Generally, he felt very welcomed in Clan Aguadaega and settled in quickly and easily. His mother, Ibolya, gave Asher the idea of moving out on his own after many months. It wasn't that she was tired of her son's company, she loved him dearly, but she was worried he wasn't getting out much and he didn't seem to have many friends. So after initially dragging his paws, Asher found a place of his own and moved out. Being out on his own was a game-changer for Asher. Maybe his mom was right. He went out a lot more, in the beginning to find furnishings for his new lair, later to meet up with friends he met in the marketplace or in restaurants. Asher came out of his shell and was the life of the party wherever he went. One day, Asher decided to host a dinner event at home and invited all of his friends over. He busily prepared snacks and drinks for everyone and as dragons came in, they each had the same reaction to Asher's home. They were stunned by the collection of garments Asher had on display. Some tunics draped over the arms of chairs; capes hung up on hooks along the wall like art pieces; gloves acted as a centerpiece on the end table. His friends asked him where he purchased the clothing for they had never seen the likes of them in any local shop. The quality was exquisite: the stitching so fine and the colors so rich! Asher replied that he had made them all himself. Making apparel was his hobby. His friends insisted on putting on a fashion show in his lair and he happily obliged them. Over the next few weeks, his friends asked him what he was working on. What kind of garment was he planning next? What colors would he use? Had he ever thought of selling his clothing in shops? This last question threw Asher for a loop. His clothing? In shops? No way! His work wasn't that good. It was just a hobby. Granted, it was a hobby that he was incredibly passionate about. Maybe, just maybe... This was his true calling! With the help of his mother and friends, Asher made the leap and begin to sell his clothes on consignment. When treasure started pouring in, he decided to open his own store. He was overwhelmed with the positive attention he received. Never had he been so happy in all his life, surrounded by loving friends and family, living in his own lair, and selling the clothes he so enjoyed making to dragons who sincerely wanted to wear them. Now that things are more routine, Asher spends his evenings in the company of friends, sketching out new designs to pour over in the mornings and bring to life in the afternoons. If only he had someone special to share his happiness with! Etymology: The name "Asher" means "happy" or "blessed" in Hebrew. Origin: A gift from Tenshikoneko on April 19th, 2016. |
