"Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light,
or just another lost angel?"

PLEASE DO NOT EXALT! IF YOU CANNOT RETURN TO THE TRAVELING THREAD, PLEASE SEND LADY HOME TO SCAR66! I WILL ALWAYS TAKE HER BACK, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Uh-oh, looks like this fun-loving girl wandered a little too far from her lair (scar66, #193878), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Lady was born in a small nest. She always felt a bit smothered by the closeness of her parents, as they only had one other hatchling to tend to at the time. Taking more after her mother, she was always breaking rules and staying up past her curfew.

Once she was old enough, it didn't take long to know that she had to get out and see the world. There had to be more out there than meditating and mixing herbs. She needed to show her independence and make connections!

So, she set out with her brother in search of new dragons and fresh air. They weren't sure how long it would be before they parted ways, so they made sure to make the best of it while they could.
--

We have arrived in a lightning clan. The dragon here sparkle, they're so pretty! There were also two other travelers here. The dragons are very nice and they gave us nests tucked into thter corner of the lair. Its very comfortable here I think I'll stay for awhile.

Shaman has decided to leave I will miss him but we would have eventually split up I will stay in this clan. I explored the territory around the lair and found a lake, it had clear crystalline water that shimmered in the sunlight. A nice place to read.

After Shaman left they moved my nest up by a light blue imperial. He is very nice and he showed me a cave hidden in some rolling hills next to the lair. The sun shines so brightly off of his crystalline scales. Like the water in the lake.

An adorable spiral arrived in the clan. He flitted around the lair exploring everything, he found a little cave with a lake in it that he showed off to all the travelers. He got us all together and we shared stories. There is a lot of variety in travelers.

My travels led me to a small clan nestled in the Highland Scrubs, and I quickly made friends with the group's younger dragons. They had never met a mirror dragon before, and they were fascinated by my shimmering wings, I do admit it was very fun to show off to them! The clan was happy to welcome me for as long as I needed to stay, eager to hear the stories of my venture. Eventually though, the itch to take flight once more set in. I was sent off with a fond farewell after one more meal with everyone, and best wishes in wherever I ended up next.

I stopped in an Arcane clan to wait out one of the magic storms that occasionally pass through the area. The clan I stayed with was nice, even if most of them were a little quiet. Their resident spirits had such wonderful stories to tell! I felt like mine couldn't compare. I mean, they have been around for centuries. The oldest one is thousands of years old...or so she tells me. Seeing how tight-knit this clan is is making me a little homesick. I think I'll make a quick stop home before going off again.

After a long journey, I found myself again at the clan of my birth. I was surprised to see my brother there, all adorned in wrappings and carrying vials of herbal essences. Last I had seen of him, he was also traveling abroad, seemingly endless in his thirst for knowledge. He told me that he, too, had found himself home under the safety of the thick trees. And that for now, he was content with his travels. The clan needed him here, and he was keen to oblige.

And so, I too took relief in staying with my home clan for a time. But unlike my brother, I was not yet satisfied with the breadth of my travels. I wanted more. And so, after far too long in the dark undergrowth, I bid my brother farewell and left, determined to continue my journey where it had left off.

It took some time, and some wandering - stopping in at various inns and clans for a night here or a night there, or more often than not, a night in the wilds - but I eventually made my way out to a pack of Mirrors I'd heard rumor about. Living in the Sunbeam Ruins, this was supposed to be a massive pack, in theory open to all who could "keep up" but in practice a Mirror-only clan. On arrival, I was blown away by the number of Mirrors present - it was one thing to hear the stories, and another entirely to see them in person. Nearly one hundred of them, in all manner of color and skilled in all manner of trades and arts! I was quickly welcomed in and made myself at home, joining on occasional hunts and assisting in various workshops as needed. As pleasant as it's been, though, I'm sure there's still more of the world to see out there, and it may be time to move on soon. . .
