Match was born and raised in the kingdom of E'thyrios. Her family were farmers and she often times was busy with crops and herding sheep. Match, however, had other plans than her parents. She did not want to continue working on a farm. She had dreams of becoming a royal knight one day, something she thought would be more exciting.

Her family laughed at her, finding it amusing that a young thing like herself would dare dream of becoming apart of the royal knights. Match was extremely determined to prove them wrong. When recruiters began seeking out new recruits, the young dragon signed up immediately.

To her dismay, she did not meet the requirements to be a knight. However, a general of the knights named JoJo saw potential in her and found another job for her instead: a scout.

She was taught how to keep track of the kingdom's borders and how to escort (or fight off) unwelcome visitors if needed. Match loved her new job and quickly became good friends with JoJo. She left her small farm home to live in the castle, where she remains to this day.
