Made up of masses of genders, including a handful that seem capable of switching between male and female to make sure they live on through climate and illness changes.

Both Parents don’t have to be carriers– only have to have dominant genes to cause the traits. (Gir/Hex/Spines with plague eyes)

Usually coloured by the blood under their skin. The pigment in their skin is very translucent and only ever seems to be a tad blackish at times, their muscles and blood show through 99.8% of the time.


Babies are born with venomous quills that seem to drop off or become nothing but dead weighted hollow spines as adults. The venom is excreted when the child is suddenly grabbed or tries to struggle. This keeps the babies from being taken from their parents too soon.


All ages have dark, deep-red to black fleshy mouths, tongue and gums. Their teeth, bones, and nails are all steel or darker in colour,


Every Carrier holds with it, to its’ death, a horrible illness that can be very different from dragon to dragon. Challenging to solve the mysteries of one deceased war-bringer, will only cause suction of resources and keep the targeted (or merely unlucky) clan in a state of desolation. Even blood relatives seem to house no partially same disease, virus, or illness. One full grown adult could potentially die and leave the targeted clan a nasty cold, while the baby it leaves behind houses a bacteria that eats eggshells from within gravid mothers’ wombs.
