Pickpocket - Amnesiac
Quiet - Curious - Defensive - Observant Thisbe cannot fly. Nobody knows why, not even Thisbe herself. In fact, Thisbe doesn't know anything about herself; she showed up at the Tempest Troupe without any memory at all, drawn by the stories of a wandering clan with open hearts and a safe place for lost and lonely dragons. Although the legends weren't quite true - there's a lot more danger, for starters - Thisbe is still happier here than anywhere else. She might not have her memories, but she has her scars. Thisbe is missing her left eye and her left hind leg. She doesn't let this stop her, any more than her flightlessness or her amnesia. Sure, she's not what one might expect from a gigantic imperial, but she's a master at trickery and sleight-of-hand. She scares some of the other dragons, who avoid her due to her size, scars, and penchant for "borrowing" anything they take their hands off. Despite this, she has bonded closely with Celia. Although the accident that stole Celia's flight and sight is still near to her mind while Thisbe cannot remember her life at all, the two dames still share very much, including the experience of working through their respective traumas. Celia is the only dragon in the troupe willing to touch Thisbe, and can in fact be found often in a nest between Thisbe's antlers. |
