I was told that I hatched in the midst of a great fire, one that ravaged the land on which I was born. I remember none of this, but it is said that the blazing lights left a permanent mark on my soul. My fur burns brightly with the spirit of flame, though I feel no pain from its presence. Along with my remarkable skills in battle, it earned me the title of the Blazing Swordsman. My abilities made me desirable to a large number of organizations, all with their own motives and desires. I chose Clan Mizu because it would not confine me or use me for its own benefit. The dragons here may be a bit...rough, but it is clear they care deeply for one another.

My familiar goes by the name of Altair, rumored to be after a great star that shines brightly in the skies of another world. Despite the delicate appearance of his species, it turns out they can be quite formidable if threatened. He was drawn to the warmth of my fire, and although I had not previously desired a familiar, my attempts to leave him behind failed miserably. Over time we formed a strong bond, and now I cannot imagine traveling without him. Having an antelope on a ship is rather strange, true, but we make it work. He was disturbed by the storms at first, but soon learned to enjoy them as much as the rest of the crew.

My heart belongs to a beautiful coatl, a scholar with the name of Aquamarine. Her intelligence and playful demeanor caught my attention immediately. Our first encounter was a dangerous one; she had been discussing an alliance in the place of Dimitri, who had other connections to strengthen that day. The discussion took a turn for the worse, and the other clan intended to take her prisoner. Fortunately, I was on my way to confirm my own alliance. I quickly drove away the traitors, for they were not expecting to actually face battle. Together we made the journey back to the ship, and our love grew quickly from there. If I had not previously decided to stay with Clan Mizu, her presence certainly would have kept me there.
