The Plague Come'th

The young Plague Fae found his way to the Ashfall Wastes by chance, where he came upon Houngan working spells around a volcanic crater. Intrigued, he perched quietly on a nearby rock and watched the Tundra chanting incantations and drawing in the volcanic ash with his claws, slowly beginning to mimic his motions out of curiosity alone.

Houngan found the sight quiet amusing, and asked the young Fae if he'd like to learn a spell. With a shake of his head, the Fae slowly began a series of gestures which it took Houngan a moment to understand - he was mute, unable to communicate verbally.

With a quiet laugh, the much larger Tundra sat back on his haunches and gestured towards him, speaking in his slow, deep monotone - "You need not words, only heart and intent. If your intent is knowledge and your heart is wandering, then follow me home, small one - we shall teach you the ways of the Fire people. Then perhaps you will wander no longer."

Since then the young Fae has enjoyed the company of Houngan's clan, and been taken under his wife Mysty's protective wing. Whether or not he shall remain has yet to be seen, but given the ever-growing decoration of his lair - no one thinks he'll be leaving any time soon.
