"Archaeologist"

An intrepid explorer, Amasis considers himself an archaeologist, though more accurately speaking, he is more of a treasure hunter, grave robber, and professional looter. Charismatic and easily excitable, he spends most of the year traveling the width and breadth of Sorneith, braving sand storms, monsoons, insects, traps, undead abominations, and other such unspeakable dangers, protected only by his wits and his bodyguard Houyi. (Though Houyi will often insist that it is more often his curiosity and "wits" that get them into trouble while it is her skills that get them out of it). They occasionally swing by the Sunbeam Ruins to pawn off trinkets and news to Tintin and Wolfgang, with whom Amasis is best pals.
