Strategist of Aquatic Activities
Orca organizes water exploration, expedition and other activities of the like. Whether her Water dragons come out alive is all up to her choices. "You are ocean deep and those that are as shallow as puddles will always dismiss you, misunderstand you, abandon you; all for fear of disappearing in your depths." Orca longs to explore the ocean, whether it be its colorful coral or its terrifying depths. Daring and bold, the seas are her conquest that she hopes to one day explore to the fullest. She shares all her genes and breed with both of her parents. - Likes: Oceans, Watercolor, Polished Stones, Cloudy Days, Fresh Fruit, Picking Flowers, Painting - Dislikes: Large Animals, Light, Forests, Mountains, Sunbathing - Secret(s): She hides her parchment from everyone except Zhyrine and Tourmaline. - According to the Sornieth Floriography Guide, canyon ruffage stands for patience and reliability. - Orca's tradewinds gull is known as Seawings. He acts as Orca's messenger. - Orca is very extroverted! She loves interacting with most anyone given that they return her warmth. - She's not afraid to make her enemies known. - Ocean Areas Inspiration (Abzu), Ocean Creature Inspiration - Orca is the most adept swimmer and diver in the clan. Her swimming speed rivals that of the fastest fish. Additionally, she can withstand high pressure, making deep underwater expeditions easier. - Orca has attached mechanical fins to further improve her swimming speed to her body. This was done with the help of Seeker, one of the clan's doctor, and Vanora, the clan's engineer. Seeker surgically attached it and Vanora was responsible for the building and operation of the fins. - Her sharp, mechanical fins can also be utilized as weapons. It takes agility to master it, though. - Orca cannot fly. Her wings are much too small. - Orca is bioluminescent, glowing underwater and in the dark. - There is a bounty of 7kt on her head. Origin Story Orca held no memories of her previous life before the fateful day she washed ashore the sun-flecked rivers of the Light Domain. Orca was only but a hatchling when she was taken into the Lavaburst Clan. She was taken into their marble city underneath the wing of the hatchling caretaker Tourmaline. She would also notice an odd piece of parchment attached to the little Coatl's neck with a string - "Sea green, Dragon lean, Out in the sea of [ILLEGIBLE], To the door of [ILLEGIBLE], you are the key. " This was shown to the matriarch, who took the note seriously and commanded that Orca be raised a warrior and taught of truth and justice. Tourmaline acted as Orca's mother and raised her to be a true and just dragon. It was only when she was a young adult Tourmaline told her of the parchment she was found with. To this very day, Orca is trying to find out the meaning of the parchment. Relationships Tourmaline - Foster Mother Zhyrine - Close Friend Kaiden - Friend Magdalene - Friend Hellcaller - Friend Foestalker - Friend Flurry - Friend Vanora - Friend Birch - Friend Fuyu - Friend Abilities In Orca's eyes, explorers can not afford to be careless and vulnerable. To travel without weaponry is to travel to one's death. Water Bolt - Orca fires a slow homing missile. Swirling Vortex - Orca traps a victim within a small whirlpool. This will keep them trapped for a few seconds. Aqua Step - Orca rushes forward, utilizing water to move faster. Splitting Geyser - Orca splits open the ground, causing water to rise up. This attack changes depending on current location. In warmer areas, hot water will rise instead. Underwater, this attack pushes back enemies. Rising Tide - Orca charges forth quickly and aggressively whilst summoning water around her.
