Yraipa drifted into the territory of the Clan of Antlers on a warm summer’s breeze, perhaps a foreshadowing of the young dragon’s impact. He came into the clan at a time of widespread materialism and courtly intrigue, when the caste of Courtiers were at each other’s throats for power and strangling the lower castes without a spare glance. There was much suffering and contempt in the name of material wealth. Like a cleansing breath, Yraipa’s presence set about a change in the clan immediately. He walks with a humble step, speaks softly and with care. There is something in his bearing which causes others to look and see themselves, and to try to be better, softer with one another. One by one, the clan took notice of him, and he gained the admiration of all. They began to hail him as a prophet. Now the clan readies itself for its second pilgrimage, to Yraipa’s homeland in the Shrieking Wilds.

Soon after Yraipa arrived, one dragon took special notice of him. Iestyn, the Bright One, formed a deep bond with Yraipa. He feels protective of the smaller Imperial, and Yraipa is thankful every day for Iestyn’s grounding presence. He needs Iestyn, the one who will listen to all his fears of disappointing the clan, his insistence that there is nothing extraordinary about him, and his worry that he is not doing enough to dispel the title of “prophet” placed upon him.

Consuming Yraipa's antler powder bestows upon the user a sense of radiant ecstasy, and is highly addictive.
