One of the Undermountain's more traveled Seers, Anasi spends only a rare season in the homestead. Between her erratic stays in the Undermountain however, Anasi can be found traveling with the Caravan.

Sharing little about where she came from, Anasi has only recently decided to call the Undermountain a home of sorts, striking up a fast mutual tolerance with Jeza and Tierra, and gaining rights to a carved out place of her own to rest her head. Her particular cavern is one of the warmest in the Undermountain, despite her only rarely using it. Filled with plush silks, soft pillows, fine antiques and warm magical lamps, it is where she chooses to destress and, indeed, hide, if push comes to shove.

Like most of the other dragons in the Undermountain, Anasi possesses a hand for magic and a mind for gold. Her particular skills are a little more specialized than the general Undermountain resident however - her sight is only useful to other Guardians. More specifically, she helps, for a fee of course, provide direction in fellow Guardians' Searches. Many a Guardian claims she has been the one to finally allow them to end their Search and settle down happily. While some few have claimed her tongue is forked, as well as those in her care, she takes, and has always taken, great pains to provide the truth - however unpleasant - and she holds her caravan to the same. They may be witches, gamblers, and mercenaries with an eye to gold, but she will hold them to a higher standard, so help her.

Anasi herself has claimed no Charge, and indeed, seems angered and even more distant any time the very topic comes up. Though she's quick to tell those outside of the Caravan that she has little interest in her Search, those within her circle know otherwise. They know why the Caravan moves so sporadically, so frequently, why she gets tense and terse when another lead comes up empty.

She is not looking for her Charge to protect it. Rather, she needs to find it. To make sure it remains out of her way when she does find it. Once she knows what it is, knows where to find it, she can avoid it, bury the link deep inside her and move on with her life. Out of sight, out of mind. And then, only then, can she find her love again, without the threat of a Charge making her choose between them.

A ranger, travelling himself across Sornieth, with a path that passes hers so unbearably rarely. They were happy once, together. Travelers in a caravan not much different than the one she's created since. A protector for the fluid group of witches and seers, a guard with a purpose and determination she could not help but be drawn to. A Shade hunter whose mission she respects, even as it takes him away from her.

For now. Always, just for now. So, she hunts her Charge, and he hunts his prey. Eventually, they'll be together again. Its all she can hope for.
