Personality: Larkspur, often called Lark for short, is a very curious dragon. She is a bit of a wide-eyed idealist, likely the product of a lack of experience and being raised by the joint effort of an immature prankster and a laid back hippie. She prefers to see the beauty and goodness in the world, and as such can occasionally be ditzy and easy to fool. She has an excellent, near photographic memory, and can at will repeat back entire conversations verbatim from recollection alone. And yes, as you have probably guessed by this point, she is a trans girl. She prefers not to make a huge fuss over it. History: Despite being the product of a one-night-stand between two platonic friends, Larkspur grew up very much loved and never questioned the odd dynamic of her family. While her mother was extremely goofy and often played with Lark's siblings, Lark herself seldom played as a hatchling. She preferred to curl up with her father and listen to him tell stories; stories about the Gladekeeper, about the Viridian Labyrinth, about all of the beauty that there was in the world beyond the Snowsquall Tundra. Enamoured with the notion of this vast world of nature's majesty her father had left behind- and the unanswered questions he still had about the fate of his birth clan- Lark decided to take advantage of her own excellent memory and a bit of an enchantment she had cast on her pearl to create a record of the places and people there that could be accessed at any time. In a sense, she wanted to turn herself into a living historical tome, keeping the memories of the lands and clans of the Gladekeeper's territory even if they were eventually lost to time. And so, saying goodbye to her family, she spread her wings and set off to do exactly that. |
