#000020 | Offical Ruin's Curse| Monarchs

These are the true Ruin's cursed dragons. Ruins are descendant from the original clans, and are most common of the variants. They usually stay to their clans, and are a bit nervous to trust other breeds. They can, and will, mock other dragons true to their Nocturne natures, but they have developed their own personalities and traits since being isolated from dragon kind for so long. They do have a kindred to Imperials, Wildclaws and Coatls, since they are much like the Nocturne and rare in number, but the more common Mirrors, Tundras, Faes and Gaurdians they steer clear of. Most are very shy, tend to stay in the shadows, and love visiting the Ghostlight Ruins constantly. They really shine while fighting, guiding other dragons of their adopted clan through the perilous area. They often times will scold, or even attack a dragon that makes a battle cry, as they see it as a waste of energy in times of battle. However, they will talk to you in normal circumstances, but they are quiet and reserved.

Monarchs are the born leaders, often mastering a highly valuable skill or achieving a goal. Most of these dragons are are magically gifted but others are skilled in making weapons, shields, armor, others finding these skills worth wild to have a top position in the pack. Their often delicate wings are also the best at sending complicated signals during a battle. Monarchs have twice the scales on their wings than any other dragon and thus can make many more patterns to tell those under them what to do in a hunt or a battlefield. In every hunting party there has to be at least one Monarch to get the job done swiftly. Monarchs are often pompous and think they are better than anyone else and will use that smugness to get what they want. Their dexterity makes them great mages or tacticians, they are also very scholarly and will often go to light flights or arcane flights to find out more secrets to uncover.

As a monarch among his brothers Loschon is all bark and no bite, he relies on his brain more than his physical strength in most situations which results in some pretty strange thoughts. His colouration is a determination of how he behaves around dragons that do not belong to his own clan, and his particular colour describes kindness to a T. His lightly coloured belly shows that he means no harm at first glance, and will be willing to help despite what breed or colouration another dragon has. He is also quite lucky when it comes to the purple tint shown, this signals that he is able to use magic to some degree, even if he would never use it to harm another dragon at first. He would only resort to violence if he really needed to.

Loschon is a lot more sensible than a lot of his clan mates despite his age, and will enjoy looking after younger hatchlings or simply reading a good book to himself.
He has some spite toward a certain white scaled dragon he has come across many times, this being Aeldir, a mysterious dragon that turned up really without much warning. The two have disagreements and Aeldir is truly the only dragon Loschon has even hurt intentionally. ( As shown by the scars on the lad's legs. )
