seeking rare minerals and spices, aldo ventured out from his home in the viridian labyrinth. hitchhiking across the continent when possible and blazing trails when not, aldo learned much and archived his travels.

while trekking through a marsh on the borders of the tangled wood and the scarred wasteland, he encountered an enormous, fleshy monstrosity of muck and serrated teeth that chased him to the sea's edge. luckily aldo was able to bargain for a ride on a passing boat, and again bargained for his life once he was aboard what he now recognized as a pirate ship.

after several uneasy weeks sleeping with one eye open, aldo finally reached his destination: the southern icefields. he departed thankful he was able to leave with his life, if not the majority of his supplies and funds.
