Calamity

Calamity has a vision, and they are not afraid to share it with the clan! The public spaces of the clan frequently change aesthetic, atmosphere, and furnishings as Calamity strives for perfection. They view the clan's spaces as setpieces and stages upon which drama may unfold, and even a small adjustment may create the opportunity for huge events.

The greatest compliment of their work - in their opinion - is an invitation from another dragon to redecorate a portion of their private quarters. There, Calamity truly thrives, and their mastery of light, color, and shape comes into focus as they create inviting spaces that truly represent their clanmate's aesthetics and needs.

As creative as they are, Calamity has a reputation for being clumsy. Due to a disorder of their nervous system, their hands are not as strong as they could be. Often seen wearing wrist braces to help steady their wrists, and known to have tremors even when standing still, they are still driven to create and share the vision of beauty that fills their thoughts. And though some days are better than others, they are known to lose their hand strength and drop things - often paint, to the dismay of clan neat-freaks.

Although they sometimes get frustrated by their disability's interference with their work, Calamity has grown accustomed to these setbacks and knows that if they have started dropping things, it is time to stop and take a break. Their generally relaxed personality has led to older members of the clan taking a liking to them, and they are often looked upon as a younger sibling, for all the good and ill that comes of that.
