B I O G R A P H Y

______ In the lair Black has a reputation for cruelty. His wings are nearly entirely feather with a wide plume at his tail to allow him to steer sharply when in flight. He seems to have been corrupted by the same kind of madness that has afflicted his Corven familiar and the Tengu Kraw seems to be the only one capable of understanding him when he goes into a spasming rage. Black is a blood-knight, he derives a great enjoyment from both inflicting and receiving pain. He has a reputation for going for the eyes and vital organs of an opponent first, aiming to inflict pain over a clean kill and is largely reviled by the lair for his enjoyment of mutilation. His crown of bones is a ever-growing affair, he adds on suitable bones from stronger opponents and removes ones that have been damaged. White is the closest thing he has to a companion, the spiral sufficiently out of touch with reality to want to spend time with him. The spiral is insistent that the wildclaw is a good guy deep down. Black is calmed by his presence, limiting the acts of violence he needs to feel alive to the enemies of the Lair. He has paid a lot of Treasure for the ability to produce and he unharmed by flame, even though he is not part of the Fire Flight, and has a reputation for self-immolation before battles so he appears as a burning ball of black feathers streaking across the sky. His dark feathers are usually streaked with ash and he bears the strong scent of burning feathers and blood.

______ As a curse for his violent nature Black has been put under a spell; the further he travels from the lair the more his form begins to shift and his magic wane until he fully becomes a Tengu and, if he stays away much longer, degenerates fully into a mindless bird until he returns. He hates and fears this curse and does not often leave the Lair because of it. The curse has left his wings and tail unusually feathery, these plumes light up with the flares of his fire magic, and his limbs have become ash-grey scaled claws. His bony bird mask covers up the beak-like discoloration and hardening of scale on his upper jaw. He is known for his perverted blatant flirting with White and love of alcohol as well as his cruelty.
