Tarnish

Tarnish was born of an interclan breeding, one of the rare few to be kept by the clan and avoid the auction house. Both his sisters, Amelia and Kirukan, were both later exalted after leaving the clan. His parents mostly ignored them, as they weren't ever a firm couple and it was expected to be just a for-profit pairing. Neither was expecting a baby, and Tarnish was virtually abandoned. However, clan member Persuaja, who came in a little before the young hatchling, soon stepped in to serve as an older sister figure to the young dragon. She taught him what was to be expected of a dragon like him, and he became an excellent fighter, occasionally serving as a hunter when needed.

While his appearance would seem to relay an attitude both hostile and passionate, you will never meet a more steady Pearlcatcher. Some of the dragons call them their rock, and he has great potential to reach an adviser role to the great leaders. He is diligent in every task Tarnish undertakes, with a calm and methodical approach that many admire. Despite his apparent stability, Tarnish is plagued with incredibly terrifying nightmares that can be quite debilitating.
