Laphroaig, better known as Laph. Although technically he's the leader of the clan, he prefers to leave all the important things to his co-founder Mist, because she's a lot better at organization and keeping everyone in line. (By this point, Laph's really just a figurehead and he knows it, and he's totally okay with that.) While one might expect the patriarch of a Lightning clan to be serious and work-focused, Laph is very easy-going and playful, which makes him extremely popular with the hatchlings.

Easy-going doesn't mean he's a doormat, however. He's highly experienced in battle, thanks in no small part to Mist's influence. The pair of them fight well together, in part because they've had such a long time to practice fighting side by side, and in part because Mist is an excellent strategist and leader in combat.
