Waken

Uh-oh, looks like this curious vine wandered a little too far from his home lair (FictionTrailMix's lair #240039), and now he's off to see the world! Even before he really decided that he wanted to travel, Waken had already gone on an adventure, when he left his first real home lair (RedReaper180's) to join FictionTrailMix's clan. There he stayed for a while, until the night he decided that he wanted not to stop there, but to keep travelling, visiting different clans and having different adventures. So, Waken wished his clan farewell, packed up a snack, and set out, appearing as he always did, in a Glade Stream Skin. He found himself in Arcane, where the stars shone bright, just like the young Spirals soul. He was welcomed warmly, and found a small clan to stay with while he was there. But as he learned more and more about Arcane he found himself, needing to find a new home. Spreading his wings without a goodbye he travelled to the Wispwillow grove, where a clan full of odd dragons discovered him. They greeted him warmly and decided to stay for a while. He hoped it would turn out alright. He liked this clan, but he knew it wouldn't be long before he had left again.

And he was right. He stayed for a short duration but then his wanderlust got the best of him and he was off again. He flew for a few days before he reached a venerable lair in the wicked Shrieking Wilds of the Nature tribe. He was greeted warmly by the eldest dragon there, a male Tundra named Doctor. It appeared he was the leader of the clan, all the other dragons respected him. Once they learned Doctor trusted the new spiral, he was very generously welcomed, the clan preparing a feast for his first night. Although the clan is fun and open, he feels his wanderlust beginning to itch again. It won't be long until he's taking flight again, but for right now. He's just going to enjoy his visit.

Waken returned to his clan, where he spent some time getting to know the many new faces who had arrived during his travels. Eventually, though, he once again felt the call of adventure, and decided to set off to places unknown. So Waken packed another snack and set off once more.

Like the last time, he found himself in an Arcane clan. They welcomed him warmly with what little they had after an Emperor ravaged their lands. He stayed for a short while, helping them rebuild and looking after the hatchlings, who were fascinated by the traveler. As much as he liked the dragons, they were preparing to move, and he felt the wandering winds calling him again. He left with the arrival of night.

Just a few days after leaving the Starfall Isles, Waken found himself slithering in and out of the lush underbrush of the Everbloom Gardens. There, he met two curious dragons by the names of Amberhave, and Ruyjen, who graciously welcomed him into their lair. The three of them quickly struck up a conversation about Waken's travels.. The fabulous Wildclaw seemed entranced in his stories late into the night, but the Spiral felt his senses soon itching again, and he quickly went on his way, waving his new friends a lonely goodbye...
