life is precious. we only have the this moment, sparkling in our claws like a star and melting like a snowflake...

The young female dragon was born in the realm of Mournean. Her mother and father were both coatls like herself, yet her mother was not from the same realm. She was from Sornieth, and inturn mortal. Most of the immortal dragons from Mournean considered those mortals to be lower than themselves. Pitiful dragons born only to die. Although through such prejudices, he fell in love with the mortal female. Becoming mated with one another he took her to live with him in Mournean. A female hatchling was soon born to them, and they named her Nuit. He hoped his daughter would be able to become immortal just as they had.

When Nuit came of age, she was trained like the other demi dragons. Nervous about his daughter's fate, Cernunnos went to a friend who was a seer. She peered into her black scrying mirror, then told him a vague profecy,that spounded as if Nuit would die saving the one she loved and land of Mournean. Afraid of his daughter's fate, the male had sent her back to Sornieth, to the Arcane land called the Isle of Delos, with a slip of parchment with the profecy written on it. Hopefully she would be safe there...
