Lady Irene has fought tooth and nail to be were she is now. The first and only child between the union of her two parents Cinder and Steven she was given a bit of an advantage at the beginning. However this did not last as she grew, realizing that not only was her breed common, but they were also bulkier than the average dragon. Irene's had a dream once that she was a Skydancer and this has been a secret passion she has held onto ever since. The image of being a delicate figure who weaves and dances through the skies seems to hold her fancy.
Eventually her rather domineering and vibrant personalty grabbed the attention of Mithras who was smitten with her. She understood his standing with other dragons so she encouraged his advances, eventually becoming his mate. When she encountered the other dragons who were from far richer backgrounds than her she had to alter her personality slightly so they would leaver her be. She became aggressive and cold, making sure that everyone knew their place when they spoke with her. Irene had never been the most friendly, but she became downright aggressive, making her unpleasant to be near.

This continued for years, Mithras and her slowly drifting apart no matter how hard she tried to hold them together. No doubt Lady Irene knew she would lose the imperial eventually, but she tried to hold him for as long as she could. However her personality had become far to toxic and the coming of the end finally happened when Jack appeared in their lives, an end that Lady Irene had seen coming ever since the Skydancer had appeared.

When Rona took charge of the lair Lady Irene was more than a little displeased, but did not voice to much distaste. The snapper seemed to look at the events surrounding the Darkwing cult as a necessary step which was bound to happen no matter what occurred. She found it unnecessary for their to be a leader put in charge, but after spending some time with Rona she seemed to accept that they would be a fine dragon for the job.

For Rona's part, they seemed very interested in what the snapper had to say. They have spoken numerous times during which Lady Irene has unwillingly found herself admitting more than she'd like to the Imperial. Rona clearly feels a decent amount of sympathy for the Snappers situation, something others find very hard. Rona seem's to have broken through the snapper's mask and meet the dragon underneath who has been hidden for so long. It seems that Lady Irene has shared everything with the Imperial, going into depth on the situation. Though their beliefs differ the two have grown very close in the short amount of time.

As for the rest of the lair most are either uninterested in the dragon or find her to be to angry for their presence. The only other dragon who Lady Irene communicates with is the well known exotic dancer Scarlet who is a diva himself and does not find her overly grating. He is one of the few she'll communicate with during Mithra's parties and the two seem to understand each other on a basic level.
