Even though she is a skydancer, she still believes in her charge, and considers herself a secondary (lesser) protector of the clan. She fulfills this role primarily by helping others find their 'place' and trying to guide the clan to success. Other dragons generally see her as a nuisance, or a threat, except for Cado, who refuses to send her away; Yan has taken her under his wing and has promised to guard her as best he can.
