Umuthi is very peaceful, and his hobbies mostly consist of collecting rare flowers from all over Sornieth, and cultivating a garden next to Melancia's and Matunda's gardens. Unlike Melancia and Matunda's gardens, though, Umuthi doesn't grow food- he takes seeds from the rare flowers that he collects and plants them, making his garden one of wide variety and breathtaking beauty. You'll find it's hard to tear your eyes away from the rainbow of flowers. Mavis visits it daily.

"Oh, those flowers right there? Those are Spathiphyllum, I collected them when I travelled to the Tangled Wood. They thrive in areas with little to no natural light, you know. Oh, and those over there? Heh, that's Manaweed, I collected it when I came across a foolish dragon who spent all of their money on it. They thought eating it would make them smarter."

Umuthi has travelled all across Sornieth collecting plant life of all kinds. When he returns from one of his journeys, he spends hours with the clan gathered around him, telling stories about things he saw or experienced. Like that foolish dragon that spent all of their money on Manaweed, for example- he came across that idiot in the Ashfall Waste.
