While many mistakenly believe the Southern Ice Flows to be entirely devoid of any great wealth of plant life, Destinaxe knows better. Even as a youngling she had been fascinated by the sheer tenacity of the plants who grew in such a hostile environment when compared to the veritable jungle she had grown up in. Thus when the chance arose to join one of the icey clans she jumped at the opportunity to live with them as their go between for her home flight.

She brought with her, her extensive knowledge of plants and their various uses. Or so she thought. Once she had arrived she discovered a great wealth of plants unknown to her, and very few she could say to have recognized from her upbringing. Instead of being put off by this, however, it was of greatest delight for her to have so much to discover, catalog and study.

Her knowledge is a highly valuable asset for a clan which not only travels great distances, but also one that relies heavily on trade. Destinaxe frequently assists in listing which plants the clan would benefit the most from as well as identifying anything new to the clan, or sometimes even herself.
