Aeldra normally keeps to himself, usually leaving others alone and expecting them to return the favour. But he's not cold. He has a gentle, caring spirit and that's most likely why the hatchlings love him. They can sense things like that.

Before the Citadel was bustling with fluttering faes, Aeldra was there. He wanted a place he could call his own. A place where he could be alone. He never much enjoyed being with his family; the chaos was too much and so he left and wandered in search of a sakura tree like the one his parents had claimed a century ago.

He plodded into the Citadel where the sun illuminated the tall blades of sweet grass blowing in the warm, gentle breeze. He wandered to the Eastern reaches of the Citadel and found an adolescent sakura tree growing beside a shallow stream.

"This. I think this is the place," Aeldra thought to himself.
