    Marva was born on the night of the April Fool, yet her parents were left unawares of her hatching. For it was not them who stirred her shell, but a strange and mysterious dragon who had sneaked her way into the nesting grounds. Marva emerged from her shell as the tail of the stranger brushed against it, the unknown dragon looking back in fear. After a long night of stowing mirrors in strange places they had seemingly forgot about other dragons. The rules were the rules though, and no dragon was allowed to see them. So the mysterious stranger picked Marva up without another word and stowed away into the night, leaving a mirror in her place.

    Surrounded by magic hats and funny looking rabbits and a leftover blurry memory of a stranger in the dark of a nesting ground was all Marva knew. Magic twine and comfy sweaters accompanied her all throughout her strange and miraculous upbringing. Her caretaker showed once in awhile, but only to bring her food and new play things. She had spent more time with them when younger, but saw less of them as they grew. For some reason their caretaker only ever wore a dark cloak around them and asked to be referred to as 'caretaker'. Marva didn't know if her caretaker was her parent or not, but loved them dearly anyways. Which is what made it so much harder to leave when she decided there was more to life than her cozy cave. Marva left a note for her caretaker before she went on her way and began her journey to somewhere different.

    Marva ended up in a windy plateau full of green waving grasses and colorful balloons. In her excitement of seeing such a new place, Marva found the nearest traveling dragon to ask where she was. This dragon so happened to be Dustedgloom, a trickster at heart and a silly ragamuffin. As soon as Dustedgloom learned Marva's name, she proceeded to ask about mirrors and twine and other such things. Marva was confused that a dragon she never knew could know so much about her private life. Dustedgloom stopped her tricks and asked if she was the Marvelous Marva. Marva knew nothing of being marvelous, and was sad to disappoint a potential friend. Then out of nowhere Dustedgloom asked Marva if she lived anywhere, and when Marva said no, Dustedgloom lit up. Suddenly Marva had everything; friends, a home, and another dragon she could call 'caretaker'. Marva was surprised, but happy too. It was the more to life she had been looking for. The only thing she missed... was her old caretaker.

    After a while of being in the clan Marva felt sort of lonely, but in an odd way. She thought about how most dragons had mates, and how she wanted one too. Luckily, one day a traveling jester came around to the region to perform and caught Marva's eye. He was beautiful and funny and tricky. She followed him for days before confessing she wanted to be friends, and maybe even mates. The dragon's name was Marvelo, and he couldn't be happier to become her new mate. The two became a stage act and all was just perfect.

    Marva's familiar was the first odd rabbit she got acquainted with when she lived with her caretaker. The bunny followed her out, so she couldn't say no to keeping it.
