Despite having four eyes....he has bad eyesight! In fact he's farsighted. An oddball since a Dragonlet,quite honestly,he has a few quirks. He likes licking smooth surfaces,fears of accidentally knocking birds out of the air/off their perch/over,hates anything on his paws,and has a habit of making small bird nest-like things when bored and idle. He seems to love cloudgazing and birds of any kind.

Apollo's first journey out of the lair was to an all-Skydancer clan that called themselves the Clan of the Endless Skyline. Despite their rather secretive lair deep in the Zephyr Steppes, their territory provided a perfect vantage point to watch the serene Windswept skies. The clan leader, Cirrus, presented him with an honorary bracelet, meant to distinguish members of their clan from dangerous outsiders. A Skydancer named Mosrael was assigned to teach him the clan's history, but they ended up spending the whole day feeding Mosrael's bird friends and watching the clouds roll by.

Hoping for a new vantage point, Apollo headed for wetter climes. The beach would be a great place to cloudgaze, right? Normally yes, but not when two hatchlings were missing! Clan Sigma drafted Apollo into their search party and turned him loose on the dunes. Though one hatchling was long gone, he was able to find the other, a lonely girl named Limu who was searching for her brother. Hoping to cheer her up, Apollo began to teach her about clouds, which made her finally stop crying and perk up a little. All would have been well and good, had he not totally lost track of the rest of the clan during the search...

As day turned to night, Apollo shifted from cloudgazing to stargazing, trying to keep Limu from figuring out they were lost. The little guardian, though still missing her brother, was having too much fun to realize anything else was amiss, and the time passed quickly, until a huge bird found them the following dawn, closely followed by the clan's augur, Metztli. The bird dropped three feathers as it soared past, a sign that Metztli claimed meant Apollo would do a great service to a clan across the sea. She wove the feathers into a band, telling him that if he needed help, her avian friends would find him. Though Limu was sad to see her new friend leave, she managed to see him off with a smile, promising to wow him with her knowledge of the sky should he visit again.

He finally dropped by his Home Liar to visit! He amazed everyone with his stories of his travels before taking off again. Devi and Nomos in particular seemed happy knowing he was fine and enjoying his adventure.

After a very long and exhausting flight, he came across a badly injured female Spiral. She appeared to have a bad concussion, along with some nasty scratches all down her body. Although Apollo was much smaller, he flew down to the clearing where Mere lied, and with determination and some struggling, Apollo managed to balance mere's body on his back. He needed to find a friendly clan that could help and fast. Not only did Mere evidently require medical assistance, but he wouldn't be able to carry her for much longer.

Just when Apollo was beginning to lose hope, a small Fae doing complex acrobatics in the air above. As careful and as hateful as he could possibly do so, Apollo unwound himself from her coils and dashed towards the small Fae, loudly roaring for help.

The next few weeks proved to be stressing and not all that entertaining. The Fae had turned out to belong to a nature clan of odd sorts, who eagerly offered help for Mere, but insisted that he was to leave with her and must wait for her ijnuries to heal. And so Apollo spent the next week around the healer of the clan and the spiral, who after four days of being unconscious finally introduced herself as Mere. Because of the nature of the injuries the Tundra healer often muttered about, they had to stay for a few extra weeks. During this time, Apollo presided with the clan, befriending the Healer (who's name continued to slip his tongue) and Mere. When the y were ready to leave, Apollo had a companion and one more lair he could happily call home - if he didn't want to continue travelling that was.

Apollo, now alone, decided to go back to visit his HomeLair and watch the vultures in the Plaguelands. Those do seem to be the only few birds there... Of course, he was welcomed with open arms and was given a new Companion by Nomos and his Mate. It was a Bluemoon Aviar that was found on a Scavenging trip, both injured and having Amnesia. The avian was named Caelus.

Apollo next made his way to a Shadow lair where he basked in the light of glowshrooms that brought out his similar shades of white and blue quite nicely. He stayed with a fairly laid back clan that made him feel comfortable despite their hustle to prepare for the Shadowbinder's festival, Trickmurk. Once the festival began, however, Apollo decided things were a bit too busy and he'd had enough time to show off his pretty feather collection here. He took his now well rested familiar and his trinkets and bid goodbye to his latest acquaintances, taking to the skies once more.

After a few days for traveling, Apollo came across a lair known as "The Lioness's Clan" situated in a hidden area of Plague. Straight away he met with a large Skydancer name Leafrot who was standing at the front of the lair, making sure people who come in are friends and not enemies.
"Ah! Another traveler, please come in, i am Leafrot and i will take you to the clan leaders" The Skydancer said as he motioned for Apollo to follow. He soon met the clan leaders, a male Fae name Leuan and a female Mirror named Aislinn, they gave him anything that he would need from food to a bed for the time he stayed.

He was taught plenty about how to survive and hunt for whenever it may be needed. He even got taught how to cook from a Coatl named Dawnwinter, he did indeed make a mess and his paws ended up getting covered with flour which he got rather upset about, he even created sculptures out of ice from a Skydancer named Sonbre, he didn't really know when or how that would come in handy but it was rather interesting to learn in his opinion. He managed to comepletely avoid learning battle techniques even though the Imp Gereth was trying so hard to convince him to join, he was also glad he didn't get stuck with helping Eira, a female Imp, with any injured dragons...... Just in case....

After staying for a few months now, Apollo decided it was time to head off after having a great time with this new clan, he was given some supplies to last and with that and many farewell's, Apollo headed off into the skies, wondering where he would end up next....

Apollo returned home once again! He greeted all the new others in the Lair and told everyone stories about his adventures and tales he heard from others in his travels. The next morning, after he and Caelus ate, Apollo told everyone his farewell's before he and his companion took to the skies again!

It was quite cold where Apollo landed next. The ground beneath his feet was almost completely covered in snow, and above him grew enormous trees that rattled in the wind. He found himself shivering as he clawed through the chilly forest, until he came across a dragon. She was a completely white coatl, who, Apollo guessed, would normally be completely disguised amongst a plain landscape of snow. He came to know her as Haze. Apollo followed the coatl through the evergreen forest, not bothering to tell her that he was cold. He was surprised to not see Haze shivering. Maybe you just get used to it, he figured.

And as Apollo stayed in the Sourthern Icefield, he did actually become a little used to the low temperatures. Although, the warm—and semi-damp—cave that Oceanspray Clan currently lived in was a nice place to unfreeze your limbs. One morning, Apollo left the cozy cave and flew through a gap in the trees. Hovering, he spotted a little barren hill and flew to it, then landed on the snow. Apollo then sat on the hill, gazing below at the evergreen forest, but was more alertly looking for birds. The mirror saw a surprising number of black-capped chickadees, which made him smile as they sang their cute little songs. Once, a chickadee landed right next to him. During that moment, Apollo was as still as a rock, but was also keenly watching the small lifeform.
