Biography

MADOC
Brawler

Fungalhoof Qiriq Horn
Noxious Colony
Algae-Bottom Slarg

Madoc does not concern herself with clan politics. She hunts when needed and fights when the clan is threatened, but she doesn't go out of her way to contribute. Her fighting skill could earn her a higher position but she does not mind being just a member of the masses. Madoc is a brutal fighter who does whatever is necessary to secure a victory. She uses a hollowed out qiriq horn to hold a deadly toxin, which she dips her long talons into before a serious fight. Some might consider her to be without honor, but Madoc follows the "all's fair in love and war" ideology and does not believe honor has a place in battle.

Madoc was born to a pair of dragons who immigrated to the Arcane realm. She never felt like she fit in with the children of the Arcane, even as a hatchling. She was always more interested in brawling, digging around for rocks and bugs, and leech eating contests. It was great fun for a short while, but her siblings and friends quickly drifted away as they started to delve into reading and research. Madoc would rather watch grass grow. Growing up, she got into more than a few arguments with her parents about what a waste of time she thought it was to sit over parchment, scribbling away and lost in one's own head. It didn't take long for Madoc to decide she'd had enough. She left in the night, without saying goodbye, and vowed to never return to the Arcane fools wasting away in their towers and mounds of musty parchment. The vow she made as a young adult has remained true to this day.

The depth of her natural Arcane curiosity extends to "I wonder if this could kill me if I touch it." She can usually be found in swampy areas, which is unusual for her species. Madoc doesn't mind being around water as long as she doesn't submerge above her knee. She hunts the mire for all things toxic, venomous, and downright dangerous. She then trains her body to withstand the new poison and builds up a strong immunity. She has built up such a strong tolerance that her mate Poisonroot can test out his experiments on her without risk.
