Biography
Alopiidae
Years ago, Alopiidae washed up unconscious and half-drowned on the rose-sand shores of Shardik. Her life hitherto to that point has remained shrouded in mystery, largely by her own choice. The most they have ever been able to get out of her was that she may or may not have been in the unsavory business of pirating. To this day none of her clanmates knows the full truth of her past. Only Alexandra, her maren partner and mate, knows the drakka's whole story. Alopiidae owes her heart and loyalty to the beastclanner. Indeed, it was same maren who saved the wildclaw from a watery grave and guided her towards the safety on the shore. The former corsair has seldom ever left the seaside since her arrival. Nowadays she watches over the waters of Shardik and studies all the creatures who swim beneath the waves. Her sea-cave lair is decorated with the countless shells and the odd castaway-treasure she has found washed upon the beach. Though a passionate and adept beach-comber, Alopiidae spends most of her days out on the water. For rarely can she bear to be apart from her two greatest loves: Alexandra and, of course, the sea.

"I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue. And it's hey to the starboard, heave-ho. Look out, lad, a mermaid be waiting for you in mysterious fathoms below."
