NEREIDA
TEALEAF COURT

Leader/Traveller/Mystery

The official head of the Tealeaf Court, although she never intended to be. When Nereida first wandered into clan territory, the clan was in a panic as the former leaders had just left unexpectedly during the night, leaving the court without overseers. Reluctantly, Nereida stepped up, her soft words able to calm the unruly dragons and Liselotte, impressed, told her the job was hers. Despite briefly arguing that she never wanted the job in the first place, and that she was just passing through on her travels, she quickly settled into her new role, acting as a mother figure to all the dragons in her care.

Nereida's true identity is unknown, while she is very open about the fact "Nereida" is not her original name. She claims to have lived many lives, in many clans, going by a different name and persona in each, and each time leaving after a few years. She refuses to talk about why she does this or what she may be running from, and whether she'll abandon this clan in the same way is yet to be seen. Because of this, there are many who distrust her, including her own underling, Lukas, although her sweet disposition has gained her just as many supporters.

A pessimist at heart, Nereida has a deep rooted fear of those with too much power, and as such avoids using her own shadow abilities as much as possible. Unsurprisingly, this also leaves her at odds with the dragons of the witches coven, and while she tries her best to treat them with the same compassion she does everyone else, she cannot help but feel uneasy around them.
