Belongings
PoisonedSugar:
Shadow had no reason to stay in his current clan. His mother and father both were in different clans. All of his dearest siblings had lives of their own, and he rarely saw them anymore. When he did, they found they had nothing in common anymore, nothing to discuss. The only solace he found in his loneliness was in practicing literature. One day, Tajah told Shadow a story from his adventures. hH told him of the mountains of glittering ice, the grassy plains, and the frigid winds. Shadow realized that he needed to travel, needed to see the rest of the world for himself. That very same day, he set out on his adventure.
captaineagle:
Shadow liked the Myrne Clan, though it seemed a bit strange to him. There was a clear pecking order, left behind by a previous monarchy of some sort, but the dragons were friendly to each other and to him. They gave him copper bracelets and a satchel, as well as a familiar to aid him in his adventures. Granted, Puff was a hedgehog, so she was more of a companion than an aid to him. He learned much from Fitz, a teacher, and Trundle, the lore keeper. Shadow was trained to fight by two dragons who were obviously very close, which was an odd experience for him. But, though he was grateful, Shadow felt the urge to wander again. And so he did.
Prescott:
Whilst traversing through the Tangled Wood, Shadow came across a robustious group of dragons making their way back to their lair. One of the dragons, named Rune, soon noticed Shadow nearby, and invited him back with them.
Overall, the majority of dragons living in the lair were friendly, though a few seemed rather cautious of his presence. He was intrigued by their unusual methods of working together, though rarely was he able to learn much about them, with only Rune and her mate, Mohatu spending a good deal of time with him. Apparently, the clan were in an uproar over a prophecy of some sort, which had thrown them into more chaos than usual. Not wishing to stick around to see what sort of 'legend' was to unfold, Shadow promptly continued his journey, thanking his hosts for their time.
Eeyorelvr:
Arriving at Eeyore's Correctional Facility, Shadow was confused as to how he got here. Last he remembered, he was wandering around the forest lost and dazed but now here he was. Shadow immediately began looking for signs of life and came across Pickles, a friendly snapper and headmaster at the prison. They talked and she took him in to meet the other residents of this lovely compound. Shadow loved it here but soon it was time for him to move on.
Koyako:
It is a mystery of what happened at this lair but if asked he'd rather not share. Rather liked to give the same sentence each time. "I-It was...something...is what i-it was."
Axqu:
"Don't try to open your eyes. Don't try to speak. I'm going to tip water into your jaws now. The water is going to taste strange. This is because it's laced with painkillers." A voice told Shadow. He was aware of... pain. Pain and beeping. Pain and beeping weren't good things, right? He felt like he'd had a wing ripped off. Over the next few days, the clan medic told him that he'd flown through a storm in the Shifting Expanse and gotten struck by lightning, right behind his left wing. The resulting muscle spasms had knocked him right out of the sky, right into the path of the lair's courier. Apparently, Nightmare had a soft spot for travelers, due to his son being a traveler and his profession requiring travel. Shadow found this dragon clan inordinately unfriendly, though, and was told he was costing them treasure to keep around. He emptied out the meager amount of treasure he had to cover the cost of his medical care and was unceremoniously booted out into the wild again with no provisions. Shadow wasn't sure if he should be grateful or not, but he was glad to get far, far away from Clan AXQU.
RickRolled:
Shadow had a rough few days. After giving nearly all of his money to Clan AXQU, he was left with almost nothing. He wasn't much of a hunter and couldn't buy food or shelter. After a few days of wandering, he ended up in Shadow territory. After that, he couldn't remember much else.
He felt something pick him up. And then he felt warm. He opened his eyes to find a large, purple ridgeback standing over him. It looks like he was taken indoors; even in The Tangled Wood, winter can be quite cold. A fire burned in a hearth on the far side of the house.
She asks him for his name; he tells her, and asks for her's. "Plumsong," she told him. She said as she was leaving her own clan, she found him passed out on the road! Luckily, he's so small, she was able to pick him up and bring him back to the nearest town. She asked him what happened, but he just told her he was having a rough journey. He didn't feel like remembering right now...
She said that was fine. Plumsong bought out some food; he tried to say no, but his stomach growled, giving away his hunger. After dinner, they talked all night long. It turns out they're both on a journey of their own! Since it's safer in numbers, they decide to travel for now, and leave about a week later.
